There were quick wickets at the top but Bala Kumar kept scoring positively 50(39) and then there was a collapse in middle order from  75/3 to 79/7. Thanks to the 40 runs 10th partnership of Ragul 26(30) and Himadri 17(20), Stunners were able to register a defendable target of 133 in 25 overs. Fairplay started off really well with some good intent in the chase but they kept losing wickets in powerplay which did not give them the momentum. There was a good partnership of 43 rums for the 5th wicket from Fairplay. Slow bowlers of Stunners really kept them quiet. At one point Fairplay was 90/4 and then the real collapse started for Fairplay and they were bundled by Stunners for 117/10 in 21.3 overs. Courtesy some good bowling by Arun Vivek who picked up the important wickets 3-0-26-2 and Rishi 3-2-8-1 who really kept a tap on scoring rate along with Bharanidharan 5-1-16-1. This is a game that was won from the jaws of the defeat.
